How I work when doing a psychic reading
I haven't written a blog in a while and as I was talking with some new people I met yesterday, I was reminded that all psychics and healers work in different ways. We work in the best way which is suitable to our circumstances to harness the abilities that we have. I often get asked, how can you 'read' me from just my photograph? don't you need me sitting in front of you to be able to pick up on me? No I don't. In fact I find it very off putting having someone sitting in front of me, giving me body language and because I am so in tune with energy, I find that I start physically feeling the person sitting there. A lot of psychics feel this and it makes it harder and harder to be in a social situation, because we take on the thoughts and emotions and pain of others and it becomes very uncomfortable. I will know the instant when I walk into a restaurant or building or someone else's house if I am going to feel comfortable there or if I am going to be picking up on energies that are disturbing me. I have been known to walk out of many restaurants, not because of bad food, but from bad energy in the place.
When you contact me for a reading, I look at your photo and think of your name and connect with your energy. Your thoughts, your emotions, your dreams, all are energy which you are putting out into the Universe and that is what I am picking up on. I have learnt to tap into other people's energetic vibration. This helps to understand what you are currently feeling and what issues you are currently trying to deal with. I will write down what I feel you need to be looking at to help you with your own decisions. Everyone has free will of choice, a psychic doesn't advise you what to do (well they shouldn't if they have morals) it is my job to help give you guidance as to how to change or what will happen if you choose a certain path or what is blocking you from success in a certain area.
When I do a reading, I use visions, so if you are asking me a question about work, I will see a type of building where I see you being connected, or I will see a name of a logo, or something significant that is in the area where you will find yourself.
I also get asked a lot "will I marry the person I am with now? or will we stay together forever?" that is a question that I don't like to answer, because you have free will. The person you love today, you may dislike in 10 years time because you have changed and grown and your views are now different. People always have choice. I believe the reason people ask that question is because they don't want to invest their time in a relationship to find out it would end in 5 years time, but in reality you still have to journey with that person to learn your lesson. I see this time and again in a reading, where I will see that a relationship is not going to work out and that there is someone else coming, but my guides will not let me tell this in a reading because you have to work that out yourself. You have to experience the lesson so it directs you to where you need to be. Every single interaction with another person either good or bad is vital to your journey and lessons.
I also find that getting a reading from me that is written down you have it for future reference. So many people have told me they have kept my readings for years and years and have often referred back to them with the messages. I have one lady who has been a client for 15 years, she gets 2 readings every year and loves to go back through them and to say, "wow, yes that did end up happening". If you see a psychic face to face and she is talking quickly, when you walk away you have to try and remember everything she said and a day later you may have misconstrued the actual words, then a year later you would have forgotten 3/4 of what was said.
Something else I get asked a lot is 'when is this going to happen" another question my guides don't like answering. Lets say for example in a reading your guides said you were going to go meet a new person in September who will become important in your life. Now lets say this person is on track to meet you and was going to find you in a place that you go everyday, like work or a club or sport. Then around June you decide that you want to change jobs, and lo and behold you get a new job and are transferred to a whole new area. That person you were going to meet ends up showing up where you were, but now you have gone, you moved somewhere else. You changed the dynamics by using your free will. After a year you decide the move to the new job wasn't right for you and then you return to where you were and lo and behold you then bump into and meet your future partner in September, a year later. Can you see how you changed the time lines? Also people will ask 'when will my house sell?" Now in this circumstance you are waiting on when are the buyers going to show up. they may have a house to sell as well, they may have trouble getting finances organised, so you are not just asking when will the house sell, you are asking when will everything line up for everyone involved. I would say from experience that 80% of things happen roughly within a time line given in a reading and other things are just left to fall into place when they are meant to.
Another important factor in a reading is thinking that a psychic is a mind reader. When you ask a question "will I stay in my career?" you are expecting that the psychic just suddenly knows what your career is, or they could waste 10 minutes of the reading trying to work out what your career is when it's something you already know. If you come across a psychic that can tell you facts that you already know, are you blown away by their mind reading abilities or would you rather have a reading that gives you guidance for the future? For me personally I have never really seen the point in giving someone information they already know, like if I were focusing on a client who told me nothing about themselves and I said "I can see you cutting someone's hair and making them look nice" and the client was a hairdresser and gets blown away by the fact i picked up what they did, what use is that? I would much rather use the energy to tell them if this is a job that is alignment with them, if they are feeling encouraged by what they are doing, if they are moving in a different direction, if they could be using their talents in other areas and where I see them in the future.
My prime objective for the last 30 years doing readings has always been to help you get on track and be the best version of yourself you can be. I may come across as blunt sometimes because your guides are trying to push a truth to you that you are not yet willing to hear. I want my readings for you to be indepth and as accurate as possible and it has taken me all of these years of practicing and doing to really get into that deep trance space to totally connect with your energy. I was reading back through my blogs from a few years ago and i can see how much I have changed in myself. We are always evolving, always learning more. I have experienced A LOT in my lifetime, there isn't much you can tell me that I haven't gone through myself, and I feel it was meant to happen that way, so when I connect with you, I can understand your emotions because I have felt them myself.
